Meet Our Team

20241113_125525.jpg

The therapy team is composed of professionals from a variety of disciplines. It includes psychiatrists, social workers, psychologists, nurses, and post graduate trainees in these disciplines, all of whom have specialized interests and skills in family therapy.

Each family is engaged by a specific team member who carries primary responsibility for therapy with that family. However, other team members are usually involved through observation, discussion, supervision, or consultation. In this way, the knowledge and skills of other team members may be drawn upon and the family may have the benefit of several opinions even though they may work with only one team member.

BCYC, MACP, C.C.C, RYT

I am a systemic family therapist and school-based counsellor who integrates narrative therapy, solution-focused approaches, and therapeutic play to support families and children in creating meaningful healing and change. Within our sessions you find yourself practicing, making meaning, experimenting, and co-constructing stories or preferred narratives. I find it powerful to incorporate role play, sand tray, clay work, and expressive arts with the hope of bringing forth patterns of healing and fostering creativity and connection.

I am a registered Yoga Teacher and offer family and youth yoga programming. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and embodied movement are passions I hold close to my heart. It is my hope that these practices help children, families, and communities develop emotional regulation, resilience, and relational skills. Through yoga, expressive arts and playful movements we learn and explore, connecting to our bodies, and build a meaningful relationship with self and others.

I am known for my playful and collaborative style. I like partnering with families, children, or youth, to build hope, strengthen relationships, and empower.
